   The Yemeni Media Center(YMC) is a non-profit civil society organization, focusing on rights, freedoms and the media in Yemen. Through its website, the YMC provides reliable news stories. The YMC searches for facts without bias and seeks to convey events as they are. 
  
The editorial staff of the YMC's websites looks forward to going beyond the written story through providing news stories accompanied by photos and videos. The YMC has a network of journalists in Sana'a and other several governorates. 
The website gives particular attention to the events in Yemen and also keeps following major events in the world, providing news in Arabic and English. 
The website is run by an elite of leading Yemeni journalists. 
The YMC respects facts and aims at building trust with readers in Yemen and abroad. 
The YMC has ambitious plans to develop the situation of media in Yemen through holding training courses, workshops and intensive training programmes in partnership with media and academic institutions in Yemen, the region and the world.
